1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember certain preferences and, in some cases, understand how visitors use them.
2. How my website uses cookies
My website is hosted by Squarespace. Depending on your choices and the features in use, cookies and similar technologies may be used to:
Keep the website working properly and securely.
Remember certain preferences.
Help me understand how visitors use my website through analytics.
Support third-party features, where enabled.
I also use Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics to help me understand website traffic.
3. Essential and optional cookies
Some cookies are necessary for my website to work and are always active.
Other cookies, such as certain analytics or advertising cookies, are optional and may only be used where you have given consent, as required by law.
When you visit my website, the cookie banner allows you to Accept, Decline or Manage Cookies. You can use these options to make choices about non-essential cookies.
4. Third-party services
My website may link to other services, including Cliniko for appointments and social media platforms.
If you visit another website through one of these links, that provider may use its own cookies and collect information according to its own policies. The same may apply to third-party features embedded on my website.
I recommend checking the relevant provider's privacy or cookie policy if you'd like to know more.
5. Changing your cookie choices
You can use Manage Cookies on my website, where available, to review or change your preferences.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that blocking some cookies may affect how parts of a website work.
6. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy if my website, the services I use or legal requirements change. The latest version will be available on my website.
7. Questions?
If you have any questions about cookies or how my website uses them, please feel free to contact me.
